5-1 Cable selection
Use
Be sure to use a

Select appropriate cables according to the following table that shows the relationship between cable diameter and transmission distance.

Note
The figure in a parenthesis is the maximum cable length and shown at its left is the normal service distance. The
system supplied from the factory is pre-wired for the
normal service distance. To obtain the maximum cable length, replace the corresponding resistor R31, R39,
R51 or R59 (390k ohms) on the LM unit corresponding to
the line with that of 680k ohms. (See paragraph
