Deployment Guide for the Polycom VVX 1500 D Phone
Note | The instructions below are written using FTP server as the provisioning server, but |
| they also apply to any TFTP or HTTP server. |

The factory default username and password for the phone is PlcmSpIp. | |

| To set up the provisioning server: | |
| 1. Create a directory to store the application image and the configuration | |
| files. | |
| For example, C:\test\VVX1500 . | |
| 2. Extract all files from the distribution zip file to the newly created | |
| directory. | |
| Maintain the same folder hierarchy. | |
| The distribution zip file contains many files, but only the following are | |
| required: | |
| — | |
| — | 000000000000.cfg |
| — | SoundPointIPWelcome.wav |

3.Start the FTP server and configure it to accept requests from the phone.
In the FTP server software on a computer, create a unique user with names and passwords. For example, username user with password password.
Refer to your server documentation to set up the server.
