Using the Directory

Editing an Item in the Directory

You can edit a name and phone number of a stored item and change the group setting (p. 35).

Programming must be carried out with the handset. Make sure the unit is in the standby mode initially.

1 Press Ü or á to enter the directory list. 2 Press Ö or Ñ.

The first item is displayed.

3 Press Ö or Ñ repeatedly to find the directory item you want to change, and press á.

To search for the item by initial, see page 40.

If you do not need to change the name, go to step 5.

4 Edit the name using the dialling buttons, Ü or á (p. 38), up to 15 characters.

5 Press Ö (Next key).

If you do not need to change the number, go to step 7.

6 Edit the phone number.

Move the cursor where you want to edit by pressing Ü or á.

Each time you press (CLEAR), a character is

erased from the right. To erase all of the digits, press and hold (CLEAR).

7 Press Ö (Next key).

8 To turn the call group feature on, select “On” by pressing Ü or á.

If not required, select “Off”.

When “On” is selected, the display will light in orange and a different ringer pattern will be heard. When Offis selected, an ordinary ringer pattern will be heard.
