Using an Optional Headset

Connecting the headset to the base unit

Connect the headset to the headset jack as shown.

Fasten the headset cord to prevent it from being disconnected.

Hook

Press (DIGITAL!SP-PHONE/HEADSET)to make or answer a call.

If you misdial when making a call, press (DIGITAL!SP-PHONE/HEADSET)

 

twice and dial again.

To hang up, press (DIGITAL!SP-PHONE/HEADSET).

To adjust the headset receiver volume (High, Medium or Low):

While using the headset, press Ñ or Ö.

To switch to the speakerphone while using the headset:

EXIT=SP-phone is displayed. Press (EXIT). To return to the headset, press (EXIT) again.

Each time you press (EXIT), the call will switch to the headset or speakerphone. While in the speakerphone mode, “EXIT=Headset” is displayed.

During a conversation using the headset, you can switch the call to the handset by lifting it off the cradle.

If you disconnect the headset during a conversation, you can continue the conversation with the speakerphone.
