Dial Lock Handset Base Unit

The Dial Lock feature allows you to prevent others from making calls with the handset and base unit. You can turn the Dial Lock on for both the handset and base unit using the handset or the base unit. To use this feature, turn the feature on. The factory preset is OFF.

When the Dial Lock is turned on, only numbers stored in the phone book as emergency numbers (numbers stored with a # at the beginning of the name) can be dialed (p. 33). We recommend storing emergency numbers in the phone book before using this feature.
