Answering system

The answering system can answer and record calls for you when you are unavailable to answer the phone.

Important:

R Only 1 person can access the answering system (listen to messages, record a greeting message, etc.) at a time.

R When callers leave messages, the unit records the day and time of each message. Make sure the date and time have been set correctly (page 12).

Memory capacity (including your greeting message)

The total recording capacity is about 18 minutes. A maximum of 64 messages can be recorded.

Note:

R When message memory becomes full:

Messages fullis shown on the base unit and handset display.

The ANSWER ON/OFF indicator on the base unit flashes rapidly if the answering system is turned on.

If you use the pre-recorded greeting message, the unit automatically switches to another pre-recorded greeting message asking callers to call again later.
