MISCELLANEOUS
PROG ERR - Indicates an EEPROM read error. Refer to “Transceiver Service” on page 61 for more information.
SLEEPING - Indicates that the transceiver has been temporarily disabled by the system operator. It will be automatically enabled again when oper- ation can be resumed.
SQUELCH - Indicates that the conventional squelch adjust mode is selected (see page 48).
TIMEOUT - Indicates that the transmitter has been disabled by the
TX DISBL - Indicates that the transmitter has been disabled because the selected group is
TX INHIB - Indicates that the transmitter has been disabled by the Transmit Inhibit feature (see page 45).
Menu Mode Messages
The following messages are displayed in the menu mode that is
described starting on page 34. The enabled or “yes” condition is indicated by “ON”, and the disabled or “no” condition by “OFF”.
