4-7 Radio Setup

Under Radio Setup submenu, there are 7 items that user can alter settings.

4-7-1 UIC (US only)

You can select the: USA, International, or Canadian channel band. The channel bands are listed in the appendix sections.

1.In the radio setup submenu select RADIO SETUP then press ENTER.

2.The cursor is at UIC, press ENTER.

3.The cursor is at USA.

If you want to select the International channel band, move the cursor to INT’L. If you want to select the Canadian channel band, move the cursor to CANADA.

4.Press ENTER to confirm your choice.

5.The new channel band is selected. Depending on your choice, the USA, INT’L, or CAN icon is shown on the screen.

4-7-2 Channel Name Editing

To setup the channel name to ON or to blank on the first line, Maximum of 12 characters could be set for channel name. Channel name also allows editing, the ways same as Buddy List edit procedures.

1.Select RADIO SETUP, CH NAME, and then press ENTER. Then select the desired channel name by using the CH / . Press ENTER then the screen will show the channel name, EDIT and DELETE.

2.Select EDIT and press ENTER to edit the existing name tag. Input the new name over the existing one and press ENTER to display the YES/NO confirmation.

To delete the channel name, just select DELETE then press ENTER.
