1 During playback (or Live Memory Playback), press FF for forward high-speed search, or REW for reverse high- speed search.

●The search speed is 11 times normal playback speed with SP recordings, and 31 times with EP recordings.

To resume normal playback, press PLAY.

NOTE:

●For short searches, during playback or still, press and hold FF, REW. When released, normal playback resumes.

ATTENTION

●In the high-speed search, still, slow motion or frame-by- frame playback mode, the picture will be distorted, and there will be a loss of color.

●When normal playback resumes from search, still, slow motion or frame-by-frame playback, the picture may jitter vertically momentarily depending on the type of TV being used.

Still Picture/Frame-By-Frame Playback

1	Press PAUSE.
	ACTIVATE FRAME-BY-
2	FRAME PLAYBACK

	Press PAUSE repeatedly to advance one frame at a time.

Press PAUSE for two seconds to start frame-by-frame playback.

To resume normal playback, press PLAY.

Slow Motion/Reverse Slow Motion

ACCESS SLOW-MOTION PLAYBACK

1 For hands-free slow-motion, press PAUSE during playback (or time-shift playback).

ACTIVATE SLOW-MOTION PLAYBACK

2 Press ¢ (or 3) for forward slow-motion, or 4 (or 2) for reverse slow-motion.

CHANGE SLOW-MOTION SPEED

3 Press ¢ (or 3) or 4 (or 2) repeatedly. The slow- motion speed changes in three steps for each direction.

To resume normal playback, press PLAY.
