Discs — Convenient functions

Disc information

You can select the disc after checking the discs loaded with the “DISC CHANGE” screen.

You can also select the disc directly with the disc buttons on the main unit.

1Press [DISC] to show the “DISC CHANGE” screen.

2Press the numeric buttons ([1] to [5]) to select and play the disc.

To clear the screen

Press [DISC].

All CDs play

VCD CD WMA MP3

This function allows you to play all loaded CDs in order and skips DVD, JPEG, MPEG4 and DivX discs.

While stopped with a CD in the current disc tray

1Press and hold [–CD MODE].

2 Press [DVD/CD q].

To cancel

Press and hold [–CD MODE] while stopped.

(The function also cancels when you open the current disc tray, switch the unit to standby or select another source.)

Note

You cannot change the mode during play, or while in program or random mode.

Video CD playback control is disabled.

Muting the volume

To mute the sound.

To cancel, press the button again or adjust the volume.

Muting is canceled when you switch the unit to standby.

Dimming the display

To dim the display panel.

Every time you press and hold the button:

Dim Original brightness

The display is dimmed, but brightens when you perform some operations.
