Since the adhesive fence scale will be difficult to remove once it installed, determine whether you will use the pointer window on the right or the left side of the fence before installing the scale.

The pointer window may come pre-installed on the left side of the fence. However, we recommend loosening the mounting screws on the window and re-installing it on the right side of the fence (see =`^li\)0) so workpieces will not cover the pointer window when preparing to cut.
