The flip stop can be positioned anywhere along the top of the miter fence and secured in place with a lock lever

(see =`^li\,,), the same distance away from the bladeLock Lever as your desired width of cut.

The flip stop can be used in the down position to make multiple cuts of the same width. It can be pivoted (hence the name “flip”) out of the way to allow longer workpieces to be cut, then pivoted back down to make additional cuts at the specified cutting width.

When the blade tilt stop bolts are properly adjusted, as described on GX^\-,, the blade tilt handwheel allows the operator to tilt the blade to the left, anywhere between 0° and 45°.
