Connecting Power

The SN 5428 Storage Router can be connected to either of two power sources: 115-120 VAC/60 Hz or 230-240 VAC/50 Hz. The power supply automatically senses the source and adjusts to either source.

To connect power to the storage router, follow these steps:

Step 1 Ensure that all site power and grounding requirements described in the Site Preparation and Safety Guide have been met before connecting the chassis to a power source.

Step 2 Make sure the power switch is set to off. (See Figure 2-19.)
