•Check that you have met the prerequisites for using Data Protector for backup initiated by Recovery Manager.
•Check that the correct permissions are assigned to Data Protector backup client users.

•Check whether the server name and domain name are entered correctly.
•If the server name and domain name are correct, check whether you can ping <server name>.
Could not access the HP 3PAR Storage System.
•Check whether the HP 3PAR VSS Provider Software can access the HP 3PAR Storage System with the registered credentials.
•Run provcfg inserv -detail.
