1.Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for Disassembly on page 92).

2.If the computer is on a stand, remove the computer from the stand.

3.Lift up on the access panel handle (1) then lift the access panel off the computer (2). Figure 7-1Removing the access panel

To install the access panel, reverse the removal procedure.
