Steps: Go to Spectrum Analyzer @ Present Chan

Chapter 2, Making Measurements

Transmit Spectrum

1Connect the equipment as shown in figure 16.

2In the main menu, enter the Base Station Channel number for the transmitter being tested.

3Turn on your base station transmitter.

4Scroll to and select Go to Spectrum Analyzer @ Present Chan. The spectrum analyzer display will appear and the center frequency will be set to match the channel number entered in step 2 (see figure 17).

5Use the Controls area (set to Main) in the lower part of the spectrum analyzer screen to make changes to the reference level and span settings as desired. Set the Controls field to Marker to use marker functions.

6To return to the main menu press SHIFT, then k1, then ENTER.

Note that the Marker Frequency readout is corrected to read the actual PCS frequency.
