Walsh Function One of 2N time- orthogonal binary functions (note that the functions are orthogonal after mapping 0 to 1, and 1 to −1).

Walsh Symbol The time necessary to transmit one Walsh function on the reverse CDMA channel.

Zero Offset Pilot PN Sequence A pilot PN sequence aligned with System Time such that the first chip on every even- second mark is the "1" following the fifteen consecutive "0"s.
