16.Type B, then Y.

17.Press any key to begin.

18.Type N to exit.

19.Remove the OmniBook 3000 Recovery CD and press Ctrl-Alt-Del to reboot. (Leave the new Support Utility Disk in the A: drive)

To install Windows 95

1.Insert the Windows 95 installation CD.

2.Choose Exit to MS-DOS from the Windows 95 Startup Menu.

3.Go to G:\WIN95 and type SETUP, then press Enter

4.Press Enter again when prompted to perform a routine check of the system. The following error will appear, press Esc key to continue with setup.

Note: This version of Microsoft Scandisk will work only with MS-DOS version 5.0 and later. Setup found a compressed volume or a disk-cache utility on your computer. Quit setup and check your compressed volume with your disk compression software or remove the disk cache utility. Then run setup again or choose Esc to continue with setup.

5.When the Welcome to Windows 95 Setup screen appears, click Continue.

6.If you accept the license agreement, click Yes.

7.Click Next to accept Collecting Information About Your computer.

8.Click Next to accept the default of C:\WINDOWS (or enter a different directory).

9.Choose Portable on the Setup Options screen, then click Next.

10.Enter the Product Identification Number, then click Next.

The Product Identification Number is located on the Certificate of Authenticity that you received with your retail version of Windows 95.

11.Enter User Information--your Name and Company, then click Next.

The Analyzing Your Computer screen prompts you for detecting devices.

12.Do not detect any Network, Sound, MIDI, or Video Capture Card devices, then click Next.
