To use Phoenix APM 2.0 with a CD-ROM drive

Phoenix APM 2.0 may not automatically suspend if you have an internal CD-ROM drive installed and “Cdrom AutoRun” is enabled. To disable this feature, complete the following steps:

1.Log in as an Administrator.

2.From the Start menu, click Run

3.Type REGEDIT and click OK. This starts the Registry Editor.

4.Select HKEY_LOCAL_Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom.

5.Double-click on AutoRun.

6.Change the value from 1 to 0 and click OK.

7.Exit the Registry Editor.

8.Shut down and restart Windows NT 4.0.

Your OmniBook will now suspend if you have a CD-ROM drive installed.
