IEEE 488.2 Common Commands

The following table lists the IEEE 488.2 Common (*) Commands that apply to the RF Multiplexer module. The operation of some of these commands is described in Chapter 4 of this manual. For information on Common Commands, refer to the HP B-size configuration guide or the ANSI/IEEE Standard 488.2-1987.

Identification

Returns identification string of the switchbox.

*RST

Reset

Opens all channels, and invalidates current channel list for Opens all

*TST?

Self-Test

Always returns 0.

Clear status

Clears all status registers (see STATus:OPERation[:EVENt]?).

Service request enable

Enables status register bits (see Chapter 4 for operation).

Triggers the switchbox to advance the scan when scan is enabled and

 

 

trigger source is TRIGger:SOURce BUS.
