Copying Music Files from a PC

 

Copia de archivos de música desde un PC

You can copy music files from a PC while connected to the PC with a USB cable.

1. Turn the Mode Dial to Music mode.

2. Press the [POWER] button to turn on the Miniket photo.

3. Connect the Miniket Photo to the PC using the USB cable provided (refer to page 139).

◆ A Connect the USB cable to the Miniket photo.

◆ B Connect the other end of the USB cable to the PC.

4.Set the desired memory type on the PC. Windows XP: Dialog windows may pop up overlapped.

◆Locate the <Miniket> or <Removable Storage Device> recognised by the PC and then double-click it.

◆Other than Windows XP: It appears to have two instances of “Removable Disk”. If it displays D and E drives as removable disks, D is the mini SD Memory Card and E is the internal memory.

5.Copy your music files and paste it into the folder <MUSIC1>, <MUSIC2>, <MUSIC3> or <MUSIC4>.

Be sure to copy your music files into the existing folders under <MP3>.

◆Up to 500 files can be stored in each folder.

[ Warning ]

✤Copying and redistributing of MP3 files may violate the copyright law.

✤You cannot create a new folder on your Miniket Photo set.

✤If you create a new folder on your memory card with a PC, it will not play back music files stored in it.

<MUSIC1> ~ <MUSIC4> are system folders. When the folders are renamed, it may not be recognised by the system and will not play back music files under renamed folders.

✤Folders created on a PC will not appear on the set.

✤Regarding Music file capacity according to memory capacity, refer to page 31.

✤The music played back will begin with the first music file that is stored in the top folder (MUSIC1).

✤It is recommended to use an AC Power Adapter during the file transfer to avoid unintended power outage.

4.Defina en el PC el tipo de memoria que desea.

Windows XP: es posible que aparezcan solapadas las ventanas de diálogo.

◆Localice <Miniket> o <Removable Storage Device> (Dispositivo de almacenamiento extraíble) reconocido por el PC y haga doble clic en él.

◆Otros que no sean Windows XP: parece tener dos casos de “Disco extraíble”. Si muestra las unidades D y E como discos extraíbles, D es la tarjeta de memoria mini SD y E es la memoria interna.

5.Copia los archivos de música y los pega en la carpeta <MUSIC1>, <MUSIC2>, <MUSIC3> o <MUSIC4>.

Asegúrese de copiar los archivos de música en la carpeta existente en <MP3>.

◆En cada carpeta pueden guardarse hasta 500 archivos.

✤La copia y redistribución de archivos MP3 puede violar la ley de copyright.

✤No es posible crear una nueva carpeta en el equipo de la Miniket Photo.

✤Si crea una nueva carpeta en la tarjeta de memoria con un PC, no reproducirá los archivos de música almacenados en ella.

<MUSIC1> ~ <MUSIC4> son carpetas del sistema. Si se les cambia el nombre, es posible que el sistema no las reconozca y no reproduzca los archivos de música incluidos en las carpetas cuyos nombres fueron modificados.

✤Las carpetas creadas en un PC no aparecerán en la unidad.

✤Para obtener información sobre la capacidad en archivos de música según la capacidad de memoria consulte la página 31.

✤La música reproducida comenzará en el primer archivo de música almacenado en la carpeta superior (MUSIC1).

✤Se recomienda utilizar el adaptador de CA durante la transferencia de archivos para evitar cortes de alimentación no intencionados.
