Supply Duct System

The supply duct system transports the primary air from the air handler to the VAV terminal units and then on to the space diffusers. A successful design achieves the following:

nMinimizes the static pressure and associated power requirements of the supply fan

nMinimizes the installed cost without sacrificing system efficiency

nSupplies air to each VAV terminal unit without excessive noise
