Decorative Bay Window

When fitting the bay window kits, the original front frame/glass assembly must remain in place. The bay window kit is fit- ted over the existing front glass.

1.Remove existing bottom louvre assembly and hinges from fireplace. (Set aside the two (2) self tapping screws).

2.Remove existing top louvre from fireplace.

3.Assemble Bay Window Kit according to instructions supplied with kit.

4.Place the two pieces of ceramic refractory along the base of the bay window. (Fig. 43)

5.Hang bay window assembly over existing window frame assembly.

Do not remove existing window frame as- sembly.

6. Re-install upper louvre assembly.

Remove all plastic from brass trims.

7.Bottom brass trim is removable when unit is installed with marble or tile surround which covers the fire- place bottom.
