Instrucciones de instalación

ANTES DE COMENZAR

•Suspenda el suministro de gas o de energía eléctrica que alimenta el calentador de agua, en la posibilidad de que el calentador pueda drenarse mientras usted drena las tuberías.

•Desconecte el suministro de agua hacia los tubos que han de ser cortados y drene las tuberías de agua de la casa.

•Abra los grifos de agua caliente y los de agua fría en una ubicación baja.

NOTA: Para una instalación más fácil, remueva la cubierta superior. Deslice la apertura la cubierta de la sal hasta abrirla. Localice el punto de liberación de la cubierta superior. Tire ligeramente en la cubierta superior en

el punto de liberación, levante y rote la cubierta superior hacia atrás para remover.

•Remueva todo el material de empaquetado localizado debajo de la cubierta superior.

1INSTALE LA VÁLVULA DE BYPASS

•Remueva el tapón plástico de embalaje y el cable de la

salida de la válvula.

NOTA: Cerciórese de que la turbina y el soporte se encuentren firmes en sus posiciones en la salida de la válvula. Sople hacia la boquilla de la válvula y observe que la turbina se encuentra rotando libremente.

•Empuje la válvula de bypass (lubrique los aros tóricos con grasa de silicona) hacia ambas boquillas de la válvula como se muestra.

•Enganche los dos clips plásticos en sus posiciones, a partir de la parte superior y hacia abajo, como se muestra.

•Empuje los adaptadores NPT (lubrique los aros tóricos con grasa de silicona) en ambas entradas de la válvula como se muestra.

•Asegure los dos clips plásticos grandes en su lugar, lateralmente, como se muestra.

2MUEVA LA ENSAMBLADURA DEL DESCALCIFICADOR HACIA SU POSICIÓN DE INSTALACIÓN

Antes de deslizar el descalcificador a su lugar, cerciórese de que la superficie de instalación se encuentre nivelada y lisa. Cualquier objeto cortante debajo del tanque podría causar una hendidura en el mismo. Si es necesario, coloque el tanque sobre una sección de plywood de un grueso máximo de 1,91 cm (3/4″). Luego, coloque cuñas debajo del plywood según sea necesario para nivelar el descalcificador. Deslice el descalcificador a su lugar.
