AJUSTES OPCIONALES DE CONTROL

La pantalla del controlador ofrece varias opciones y características.

ALARMA DE BAJO NIVEL DE SAL

La LOW SALT ALARM (alarma de bajo nivel de sal), cuando está activada, sonará cuando el valor de DAYS TO

EMPTY (días hasta vacío) sea de 15 días o menos. Para cambiar este nivel, presione y sostenga el botón MODE (modo) por 3 segundos. Por configuración de fábrica, las palabras ON y OFF aparecen intermitentes en la pantalla. Presione los botones UP o DOWN para fijar esta función en ON o en OFF. Presione el botón MODE (modo) para aceptar, y la pantalla pasa a SALT EFFICIENCY (eficiencia de la sal).

El grado de diferencia entre estos dos ciclos depende en gran medida del uso del agua y de la dureza en una instalación en particular.

Si usted tiene agua muy dura, y se da cuenta de que su sistema está regenerando cada 1–2 días, fije la posición de SALT EFFICIENCY (eficiencia de la sal) a la posición de apagado (OFF) para alargar el tiempo entre regeneraciones.

NOTA: La regulación de California exige que esta función esté en la posición de encendido (ON) para instalaciones en California.

Para cambiar este nivel, presione los botones UP o DOWN para fijar la función en encendido o apagado. Presione el botón MODE (modo) para aceptar. La pantalla pasa a SYSTEM/ELECTRONIC DIAGNOSTICS (diagnóstico electrónico/del sistema).

SEÑAL DE HORA PERDIDA

Si la hora se pierde en la pantalla debido a una interrupción en el suministro eléctrico, la luz indicadora azul se enciende cuatro veces intermitentemente cada segundo, hasta que se ingrese la hora actual del día.

SEÑAL DE BAJO NIVEL DE SAL

Si la opción de la alarma de bajo nivel de sal está activada y la función DAYS TO EMPTY (días hasta vacío) está por debajo de 15, la luz indicadora azul se enciende y la señal DAYS TO EMPTY (días hasta vacío) en la pantalla se enciende cada segundo y la alarma suena cada 30 segundos (desde las 8:00 AM hasta las 8:00 PM) para avisar al usuario que

la unidad está en un nivel bajo de sal. Tan pronto como

se presione cualquier botón, la alarma deja de sonar. La luz indicadora azul y el mensaje DAYS TO EMPTY (días hasta vacío) continúan intermitentes. Una vez que se agrega sal al tanque de salmuera y el SALT LEVEL (nivel de sal) se vuelve a configurar, la función de DAYS TO EMPTY (días hasta vacío) se configura también.

SEÑALES DE ERROR

Si se detecta un código de error, la luz indicadora azul se enciende 4 veces cada segundo de forma intermitente, la pantalla muestra Err y la alarma suena

cada 30 segundos (desde las 8:00 AM hasta las 8:00 PM) para señalar que el descalcificador necesita mantenimiento. Es posible apagar la alarma al presionar cualquier botón, sin embargo, la luz azul indicadora continúa intermitente.

Consulte la página 50 para información sobre la solución de averías con los códigos de error. Una vez que corrija el problema, desconecte por un momento el transformador del tomacorriente y conéctelo nuevamente. Aparece la visualización normal. Es posible que el motor opere unos minutos, hasta que la unidad se vuelva a configurar. Si el problema no se corrige, el código de error vuelve a aparecer en 6 minutos.

LUZ INDICADORA AZUL

Una luz azul sólida indica que la unidad está trabajando correctamente. La luz parpadea cuando la unidad necesita atención de parte del usuario.

•La luz parpadea y DAYS TO EMPTY (días hasta vacío) parpadea—inspeccione el nivel de sal y agregue según sea necesario.

•La luz parpadea y Err aparece en la pantalla—hay algún problema eléctrico en el sistema—ver la página 50.

•La luz también parpadeará cuando la energía eléctrica

a la unidad haya sido interrumpida. Inspeccione los ajustes en PRESENT TIME (hora actual).
