How to Clean

1.After each use and before washing, unplug power cord from wall outlet and allow the unit to cool.

2.Carefully remove lid. CAUTION! All internal parts, coffee grounds, and any remaining coffee may still be hot.

3.Remove the coffee tank assembly from base.

4.Wash the inside of the coffee tank and all parts with warm, soapy water. WARNING! Shock Hazard.

Do not immerse the base or tank in water. The basket and drip tray are dishwasher safe.

5.Wipe the outside of the coffee tank with a damp cloth and dry with a towel. Store the coffee urn with the lid off.

6.After repeated use, there may be some coffee stains and accumulation of oils that can cause a bitter taste. Periodically use a coffee-stain remover or special cleanser and follow package directions for cleaning. Rinse well after cleaning. Dispense several cups through the coffee dispensing bar in addition to cleaning the tank. Do not use abrasive cleaners or pads on any part of the coffee urn.

7. Coffee Tank Seal/Filter should be removed and cleaned frequently. Unscrew seal from inside tank and wash in warm, soapy water. Replace seal and tighten.

Make sure seal is firmly in place.
