CÓMO INSTALAR LA LÍNEA DE AGUA

(EN MODELOS CON MÁQUINA DE HIELOS Y DISPENSADOR)

ANTES DE COMENZAR

Recomendamos el uso del kit de suministro de agua de tubería de cobre WX8X2, WX8X3, o WX8X4, dependiendo de la cantidad de tubería que sea necesaria. Las líneas de tubería de refrigeradores plásticas aprobadas por GE SmartConnect™ (WX08X10002, WX08X10006, WX08X10015, y WX08X10025).

Cuando se encuentre conectado el refrigerador a un Sistema de Osmosis de agua reverso de GE, el único kit de instalación aprobado es el RVKit. Para otros sistemas de osmosis de agua reversos, siga las instrucciones en el manual del fabricante.

Si el suministro de agua del refrigerador es de un Sistema de Filtración de Osmosis de Agua Reverso Y el refrigerador también tiene un filtro de agua, use el tapón de bypass del filtración. Usar el cartucho de filtración de agua del refrigerador además del filtro RO podría resultar en la formación de cubos de hielo huecos y en un flujo de agua más lento a partir del dispensador de agua.

Esta instalación de la línea de agua no está garantizada por el fabricante del refrigerador o de la máquina de hielos. Siga estas instrucciones cuidadosamente para minimizar el riesgo de daños causados por el agua que puedan ser costosos.

Martilleo de agua (agua golpeando en las tuberías) en la plomería de la casa podría dañar las partes del refrigerador y traer consigo fugas de agua e inundación. Llame a un plomero calificado para que corrija este problema de martilleo antes de instalar la línea de suministro de agua hacia el refrigerador.

Para evitar quemaduras y daños al producto, no conecte la línea de agua fría con la línea de agua caliente.

Si usted usa su refrigerador antes de conectar la línea de agua, cerciórese de que el interruptor de la máquina de hielos está en la posición 0 (Off).

No instale la tubería de la máquina de hielos en áreas donde la temperatura baja por debajo de la temperatura de congelamiento.

Cuando use cualquier dispositivo eléctrico (como una taladradora, por ejemplo), durante la instalación, cerciórese de que tal dispositivo esté aislado doblemente o conectado a tierra de forma tal

que se evite el peligro de electrocución, u operado por batería.

Todas las instalaciones deben ser hechas de acuerdo con los códigos y requisitos locales e plomería.

LO QUE USTED NECESITARÁ

•El kit de cobre o de tubería de refrigeración o GE SmartConnect™, de 1/4″ de diámetro para conectar el suministro de agua al refrigerador. Si se encuentra usando un kit de tuberías de cobre, cerciórese de que ambos extremos de la tubería son cuadrados.

Para determinar cuánta tubería necesitará: mida la distancia desde la válvula de agua hasta la parte posterior del refrigerador hasta el tubo de suministro de agua. Entonces agregue 2,4 m (8’). Cerciórese de que existe suficiente tubería adicional (entre 2,4 m [8’] embobinada en 3 vueltas de aproximadamente 25 cm [10”] de diámetro) para permitir el movimiento a partir de la pared.
