Cooktop LightNight Light

To replace combination cooktop/night light, first disconnect power at main fuse or

cimuit breaker

REMOV: SCRW

panel or pdl plug.

Remove screw on right side of light compartment cover and lower rover until it stops.

Be sure btibs to be replaced are cool before removing. Break the adhesive seal by gently unscrewing -

the bulbs. Replam\ with 40-watt

incandescent bdbs ~02X4253) available from your GE supplier. High intensity 40-watt bulbs (40SllN/1), which are available in supermarkets and hardware stores, may dso be used for replacements. Raise light compartment wver and replace screw. Connect electrierd power to microwave oven.

Oven Light

To replace your oven light, first disconnect power at main fuse or circuit breaker panel or pu~ plug. Remove the top grill by taking out the 2 screws that hold it in place.

Next, remove the singIe screw lo~ted above door near center of oven that secures light housing. Replace burned-out bdb with

a 30-watt inmndescent bulb ~02X4235), available from your GE supplier.

Clean off the grease and dust on hood surfaces often. Use a solution of warm water and detergent. About 1 tablespoon of ammonia may be added to the water. Take me not to touch the filters and enamel surfaces with this solution; ammonia will darken metal.
