5. PROGRAMME SELECTION - introduction

The dishwasher has a control panel and an INFORMATION DISPLAY (G) allowing the user to carry out all switch-on, switch-off and programming procedures.

Before starting a washing programme, check that:

The tap is turned on.

The softener container contains dishwasher salt.

The right amount of detergent has been placed in the dispenser or place detergent tablets in the cutlery basket.

The baskets have been loaded correctly.

The spray arms turn freely and without obstructions.

The dishwasher door is firmly closed.

When the machine is used for the first time, set the hardness of the water (see page 15) and also set the buzzer as required (enabled/disabled). For the relative instructions, see "BEFORE USING AND SETTING UP YOUR

APPLIANCE”.

5.1 SWITCHING ON

With the door open, press the ON/OFF key (A).

The dishwasher comes on and the message shown below appears on the display (G).

5.2 STARTING THE PROGRAMME To start the programme close the door.

Whenever the door is opened and closed with a programme selected (in progress, or before it starts) the buzzer sounds, if the “Buzzer enabled” function is on (see “SETTING UP YOUR APPLIANCE”)

It is possible to select the programme on your dishwasher in 2 ways:

1.Rapid programming selection

2.Manual programming selection

On all dishwashers all programming operations are only possible with the door open with the on/off button (A) pressed

The control panel will display information relating to all of the programme settings available on this model.

After the initial message, the system offers you the simplified programming function, in which you only have to select the level of soiling and the type of wash that is needed, or standard programming where the user selects the programme required.
