Troubleshooting

Before calling for assistance please check the chart below for problems you can fix. It could save you the cost of a service call.

Dishwasher problems

	PROBLEM	CHECK THE FOLLOWING

	Dishwasher does	Is the door tightly closed and securely latched?
	not run or stops	Has the cycle been set correctly?
	during a cycle	Has the cycle been set correctly?
	during a cycle	Has a household fuse or circuit breaker blown or tripped?
		Has a household fuse or circuit breaker blown or tripped?
		If the motor stopped because of an overload, it will automatically
		reset itself within a few minutes. If it does not start, call for service.
		Is the water supply turned on?
		Is the dishwasher wired into a live circuit with the proper voltage?

	Dishwasher	Cycle times depend on the temperature of the water entering the

	as you expected	improves drying.
		Do not use Air Dry option on the next load.

	Grinding, grating,	Has a hard object entered the POWER CLEAN* module?

	White residue	Is too much detergent being used? See “Using the Dispensers” on
