INSTALLATION:

THIS UNIT HAS BEEN DESIGNED TO BE INSTALLED IN MANY LOCATIONS. BECAUSE THIS UNIT IS A ZERO CLEARANCE FIREPLACE IT MAY BE INSTALLED IN A WOOD FRAMED COMBUSTIBLE CHASE, AS SHOWN.

FRAMING DIMENSIONS:

WIDTH: 35 3/8” (89.85 CM)

HEIGHT: 31 3/4” (80.65 CM)

(INCLUDING FINISHED HEARTH HEIGHT)

DEPTH: 13 3/4” (34.93 CM)

NOTE: When preparing framing for this unit insure that the framing on the outside wall or ceiling will not interfere with the vent pipe. Framing must maintain proper clearances to the unit and vent pipe.

NOTE:

Also make sure that the top header above the framing opening is installed on the edge or upright, this will maintain proper clearances to the vent pipe.

NOTE: MAKE SURE THAT THE UNIT HAS BEEN INSTALLED SO

THAT THE BOTTOM OF THE UNIT IS INSTALLED AT THE

SAME HEIGHT AS THE FINISHED HEARTH HEIGHT. IF

THE UNIT IS NOT INSTALLED IN THIS MANNER THE

SURROUND WILL NO LONGER FIT ONTO THE UNIT.

Once the framing has been completed remove the unit from its packaging and remove the top louvers and door cover by lifting up on the louvers and door cover and pulling outwards from the unit.

Remove the decorative surround panel from the unit. There are four screws located in the four outer corners just inside the surround panel. (AS SHOWN on next page)
