Place the unit into the framed opening. Nail or screw the unit to the framing using the nailing flanges provided. MAKE SURE
THAT THE UNIT IS LEVEL AND PLUMB BEFORE NAILING OR SCREWING TO THE FRAMING MEMBERS. ALSO INSURE THAT THE BOTTOM OF THE UNIT IS LEVEL WITH THE FINISHED HEARTH HEIGHT.
Once the unit has been secured, install all venting according to local codes and guidelines and restrictions applied in this manual.
Install gas line from either the right or left side of the unit. Gas lines must be installed to meet local codes for the areas being installed.
Hook up all electrical connections for the convection blower and remote wall switch or thermostat if supplied.
The unit can now be enclosed with the rest of the house finishing. Place a sheet of drywall around the unit covering the nailing flanges and stopping on the unit body. Place the finished tile work or alternate facing material on top of the drywall so that the facing material does not extend past the nailing strip of the appliance.

NOTE: The maximum thickness of any finished facing material around the unit is 1/2” (1.27 cm).
