FLUE COLLAR INSTALLATION
THIS UNIT CAN BE VENTED THREE DIFFERENT WAYS: ( HORIZONTAL, VERTICAL/HORIZONTAL OR VERTICALLY)
The flue collar has been installed on the rear of the appliance at the factory. It can used in this location or the flue collar can be installed on the top of the firebox for vertical installations.
1.Remove the 6 5/8” outer flue collar taking extra special care not damage the ceramic fiber gasketing material that has been glued to this component.
2.Remove the 4” inner flue pipe taking extra special can not to damage the ceramic gasketing material that has been glued to this component.
3.Remove the two cover plates from the top of the appliance. These cover plates will be installed to cover the inner and outer flue connections on the back of the appliance. Make sure that the ceramic fiber gasket has not been damaged to insure an airtight seal.
4.Reinstall both 6 5/8” and 4” flue collars in the desired location insuring the ceramic fiber gasket has not been damaged to create an air tight seal.

M= Clearance under verandah, porch, deck, or balcony [*24 inches (60 cm) minimum **]
***A vent shall not terminate directly above a sidewalk or paved driveway, which is located between two single family dwellings and serves both dwelling
**Only permitted if verandah. Porch, deck, or balcony is fully open on a minimum of 2 sides beneath the floor
