ALMACENAMIENTO

SAFETY RULES

Prepare de inmediato su cortadora de césped para almacenarla al final de la temporada o si no lo va a utilizar durante 30 días o más.

ADVERTENCIA: Nunca almacene la corta- dora de césped con gasolina en el tanque adentro de un edificio donde los humos puedan alcanzar una flama abierta o una chispa. Permita que el motor se enfríe antes de almacenarla en cualquier lugar cerrado.

CORTADORA DE CÉSPED

Retire la plataforma de la cortadora de césped para su almacenamiento durante el invierno. Cuando vaya a almacenar la cortadora de césped durante un tiempo, límpiela a conciencia, retire toda la sicuedad, grasa, hojas, etc. Almacénela en un área limpia y seca.

Inspecione y cambie la cinta, , si es necesario

manual).

Nunca use productos limpiadores para motor o carburador en el tanque de combustible porque puede ocurrir un daño permanente.

Use combustible nuevo en la próxima tempo- rada.

NOTA: El estabilizador de combustible es una alternativa aceptable para minimizar la formación de depósitos de goma de combustible durante el almacenamiento. Agregue estabilizador a la gasolina en el tanque de combustible o recipiente de almacenamiento. Siga siempre la proporción de mezcla que se encuentra en el recipiente del estabilizador. Deje funcionar el motor al menos durante 10 minutos después de agregar el esta- bilizador para permitir que el estabilizador llegue al carburador. No vacíe el tanque de gasolina y el carburador si utiliza estabilizador de combustible.

ACEITE DEL MOTOR

If fuel is spilled on clothing, change cloth- ing immediately.

Never overfill fuel tank. Replace gas cap and tighten securely.

GENERAL SERVICE

Never operate machine in a closed area.

Keep all nuts and bolts tight to be sure the equipment is in safe working condition.

Never tamper with safety devices. Check their proper operation regularly.

Keep machine free of grass, leaves, or other debris build-up. Clean oil or fuel spill- age and remove any fuel-soaked debris. Allow machine to cool before storing.

If you strike a foreign object, stop and inspect the machine. Repair, if necessary, before restarting.

Never make any adjustments or repairs with the engine running.

Check grass catcher components and the discharge chute frequently and replace with manufacturer’s recommended parts, when necessary.

Mower blade is sharp. Wrap the blade or wear gloves, and use extra caution when servicing them.

Check brake operation frequently. Adjust and service as required.

Maintain or replace safety and instruction labels, as necessary.

Ensure the area is clear of bystanders before operating. Stop machine if anyone enters the area.

Never carry passengers.

Do not mow in reverse unless absolutely necessary. Always look down and behind before and while backing.

When loading or unloading this machine, do not exceed the maximum recom- mended operation angle of 15°.

BATERÍA

Cargue por completo la batería antes de alma- cenar.

4. Coloque la(s) bujía(s) nueva(s).

No almacene la gasolina de una estación a otra.

Cambie la lata de la gasolina si comienza a oxidarse. El óxido y/o la suciedad en la gasolina causará problemas.

Si es posible, almacene la cortadora de césped en interiores y cúbrala para protegerla del polvo y la suciedad.

IMPORTANTE: Es importante evitar que se for- men depósitos de goma en las partes esenciales del sistema de combustible como el carburador, la manguera de combustible o el tanque durante el almacenamiento. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Read and observe the safety rules.

Follow a regular schedule in maintaining, caring for and using your riding mower.

Follow the instructions under “Mainte- nance” and “Storage” sections of this manual.

Wear proper Personal Protective Equip- ment (PPE) while operating this machine, including (at a minimum) sturdy footwear, eye protection, and hearing protection. Do not mow in shorts and/or open toed footwear.

Always let someone know you are outside mowing.
