General

Drain all oil from cylinder end cap (turn

counterclockwise).

Lift and bucket cylinder ports should be capped at all times when hydraulic hoses are disconnected to prevent contamination.

It is recommended that all cylinder packings be replaced during cylinder assembly. Order seal repair kit to obtain all sealing components that should be replaced during hydraulic cylinder overhaul.

Install a plug in base end port of cylinders and pop out rod packing set by applying air pressure to the’ rod end port of cylinders.

Do not apply air pressure to base end port of cylinder. As rod may extend causing injury.

Safety glasses should be worn when performing this operation.
