ASSEMBLING THE MOWER

Delivery Checklist

Remove the mower from the packaging and check that the following items have been supplied correctly. If any items are missing contact, your local Hayter dealer.

Handlebar

Unscrew the handlebar securing knobs sufficiently to allow the handle- bar to pivot. Move the engine stop lever away from the engine to avoid damage and unfold the handlebar to the operating position. Make sure the knobs are assembled to the outside of the handlebar and tighten to secure in position.

CS152	Take care to ensure that the control cables do not become snagged at
	the pivot point.

Engine Start Grip

Operate the engine stop lever towards the handlebar and very slowly

pull the engine start grip (1) away from the engine until there is suffi-

3cient slack in the rope to enable it to be threaded into the rope guide

(2). Release the start-grip until it rests against the rope guide as shown. Finally tighten the nut (3) to secure the rope guide.
