The Movie Record screen appears. 1. Press the [POWER] button to 35 Movie Mode : RecordingRecording2. Press [Record/Stop] button to start recording. 3. Press the [POWER] button to turn on the Sports Camcorder. 2. Press the [Record/Stop] button to start recording. Slide the [W/T] switch up to zoom out. On the zoom indicator in the LCD screen, the arrow moves to W. The smallest rate of zoom out is the default rate (original resolution of the subject). Slide the [W/T] switch down to zoom in. The subject is larger, and you can record movies as if you were close to the subject. On the zoom indicator the arrow moves to T. 37 Playing Movie Files on the LCD monitorYou can view playback of movie files on the LCD monitor. Switches to Movie Play mode. 3. Move the [Joystick] left / right to find the movie file you want to view. Each movement of the [Joystick] goes to the previous/next movie. 4. Press the [PLAY]button or [Joystick(OK)] to play the movie file you want. Each time you press the [PLAY] button or [Joystick(OK)], play or pause is selected repeatedly. 38 *2. Press the [PLAY] button or [Joystick(OK)] and move the [W/T] switch to W(WIDE).The Multi-view screen appears. Move the [Joystick] left / right to select <Size>. 3. Move the [Joystick] up / down to select an option, and then press the Available options are: <720x576> / <352X288> The selected function icon is displayed. 41 Setting the Movie Quality Move the [Joystick] left / right to select <Quality>. 3. If you select <AF>, no icon is displayed. Manual Focus <MF> 47 Setting the BLC (Backlight Compensation)<On>: Set the BLC function. <Off>: Cancel the BLC function. Only optical zoom 10x will be supported for zooming When using the [W/T] switch, a digital zoom indicator appears on the screen. After you finish setting, move to the desired mode by pressing the [MODE] button. <12 Hour>: The time is displayed as the unit of 12 hours. <24 Hour>: The time is displayed as the unit of 24 hours. You can set to display date and time on the LCD monitor. The selected Date/Time is displayed in Movie mode. <Off>: The date and time are not displayed. <Date>: The date is displayed. <Time>: The time is displayed. <Date/Time>: The date and time are displayed. 5.
