Installation

Proceed as follows for installations under Solaris:

ÊIf you are performing the NetWorker installation on the console, the installa- tion program opens automatically when you insert the CD. If you are not working on the console, work through the following steps to start the instal- lation:

ÊInsert the NetWorker CD into the CD-ROM drive. Solaris then automatically executes the mount operation.

ÊLog in as root.

ÊSet the DISPLAY variable:

#DISPLAY=<myhost>:0

ÊEnter the following command to change to the NetWorker directory on the CD:

#cd /cdrom/<CD name>

ÊRufen Sie folgendes Kommando auf:

#./installer

ÊInvoke the following command:

#./installer

ÊChoose the SMAWnwora package.

Use the following command to uninstall NSR-ORA under Solaris:

#pkgrm SMAWnwora

LINUX

Proceed as follows for installations under LINUX:
