Installation and Configuration

Configuration

You will find an example of the progress of configure_networker below:

root 68 # configure_networker create ORA2

*

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

*

This script helps you to configure your Networker server(s) so you are

able

-

to save and restore your database and to run the archive monitor,

-

to run a mirror archive monitor on another Networker server.

This script will use the NSR-ORA configuration file, which was created

by "configure_nsrora". If your database and NSR-ORA are not installed

on this machine, you will be asked to copy the configuration file to /tmp.

The configuration of the Networker server(s) is also described in detail

in the manual.

NetWorker server nero will be used for all NetWorker/NSR-ORA activities. You are working on the Networker client nero.

The configuration file /nsr/oracle/ORA2/config/dboORA2.init will be used as an input for the configuration of

the Networker Server nero.

The configuration file still exists.

The following parameters have been read from /nsr/oracle/ORA2/config/dboORA2.init :
