Naturally, you can also restore the database “manually”, i.e. without using the
automatic facilities of NSR-ORA.

5.1.2 Recovery Until Time with Logical Errors
The recovery until time (with the command ora_recut) allows the database to be
recovered for an optional point in time. Thus it is also possible to automatically
recover logical errors in the database.
Changes made to the structure of the database can also be reversed, since
ora_recut also recovers the saved control file for the relevant point in time.
The database must be physically sound (operable) because ora_recut
needs to query the position of the control files (not for NetApp filers).
