A.1 Safety Pre cautions
Please follow the safety precaution s outlined in the sections that follow:
A.1.1 Genera l Safety Precautio ns
Please ensure the follo wing safety precautions are adhe red to at all times.
ƒ Follow the electrostat ic precautions outlined belo w whenever the PCH5120 is opened.
ƒ Make sure the power is turned off and the power cord is disconnected wheneve r the
PCH5120 is bein g installed, moved or mo dified.
ƒ Do not apply voltage level s that exceed the specified volt age range. Doing so may cause fire
and/or an electrical shock.
ƒ Electric shock s can occur if the PCH5120 chass is is opened when the PCH5120 is running.
ƒ Do not drop or insert any objects into the ventilation openings of the PCH 5120.
ƒ If considerable amounts of dust, water, or fluids enter the PCH5120, turn off the power supply
immediately, unplug the power cord, and contac t the PCH5120 vendor.
ƒ DO NOT do the following:
o DO NOT drop the PCH5120 aga inst a hard surface.
o DO NOT strike or exert excessi ve force onto the LCD panel.
o DO NOT touch any of the LCD panels with a sharp obje ct
o DO NOT use the PCH5120 in a site where the amb ient temperature exce eds the rated
temperature
