6.4 MEMORY MODULE REPLACE MENT

The flat panel PC has a preinstalled memo ry module. If the memory module fails, take the steps belo w

to replace it.

Step 1: Remove the back cover. See Sect ion 6.3 above.

Step 2: Locate the memory module on the mother board of the flat panel PC

Step 3: Remove the memory module by pulling both the spring retai ner clips outward from the socket.

Step 4: Grasp the memory module by the edges and carefull y pull it out of the socket.

Step 5: Install the new memory module by inserting it at an angle, then pushing down until the clips

snap into place (Figur e 6-2).

6.5 HARD DRIV E AND COMPACTFLASH REPLACEMENT

To replace the hard drive or Compact Flash® card, please refe r to the hard drive and CompactFla sh®

installation sections.

6.6 Cover Replacement

To ensure that the PCH5120 remains water-tight, the instruction s below must be followed exactly.

Step 6: Check the rubber seal is seate d correctly.

WARNING:

The internal rubber seal must be correctly seated to stop water getting into the system. Not insta lling

the seal correctly can result in a short circuit and destro y the system.
