6.1 SYSTEM MAINTENANCE IN TRODUCTION
If the components of the PCH5120 fail they must be replaced, such as the wireless LAN module or
the motherboard. Please contact the system reseller or vendor to purchase the replacement
parts. Back cover remova l instructions and jumper settings for the PCH5120 are descr ibed below.
6.2 Motherb oard Replaceme nt
In the case of motherboard failure, plea se contact an IEI sales representative, reselle r or system ven-
dor. The motherboard is acces sible after opening the rear cove r.
6.3 Cover Removal
WARNING!
Turn off the power before removing the back cover. Risk of electrocution . Severe damage to the
product and injury to the body may occur if interna l parts are touched while the power is still on.
The back cover of the PCH5120 must be removed. To remove the back cover, remove the screws then
lift the cover off.
