The fill level of the destination archive media class must be low

enough to allow addition of more media.

Archive media class capacity - Fill level = Amount of media that can be entered

Excess media are placed on the Eject list after the audit.

Intransit Media

(Import) After media are identified for entry by the Import Media

command, but before entry by the AO, the subject media are

placed in the intransit state. This state indicates that media

are known by VolServ software but are not physically resident

in an archive.
