Chapter 3: Terminal Menu Operation and Structure

Configuration/IP

The IP menu is used to set up the IP parameters for the Express L768/L1.5. Any general IP-related configuration item is under this menu. Figure 3-4 shows the IP menu.

IP/IP Address

Write security: 2; Read security: 5

The IP address assigned to the Express L768/L1.5’s Ethernet port is set here. This address must be unique within the network. Factory default is 10.0.0.1.

IP/Subnet Mask

Write security: 2; Read security: 5

The IP network mask to be applied to the Express L768/L1.5’s Ethernet port is set here. Factory default is 255.255.255.0.

IP/Default Gateway

Write security: 3; Read security: 5

The default gateway is used by the Express L768/L1.5 for sending IP packets
