BATTERIES

For best results, use batteries of the following types:

	Battery	Average Pictures	Notes
	Type	Per Charge	Notes
	Type	Per Charge

	Lithium	1600	Recommended: Energizer® Hi
			Energy Lithium.

	NiMH	750	Rechargeable.
	Alkaline	500	Use only brands speciﬁcally
			made for “high-drain” devices
			(e.g., Duracell ULTRA®).

Battery life can be greatly extended by using the view- ﬁnder (not the LCD) to frame images and the optional

Agfa AC adapter to power the camera.

To install the batteries:

◗Slide the Mode switch to OFF.

◗Push the button on the battery compartment door and slide the door towards the front of the camera to open it.

◗Insert the four batteries as shown in the battery compartment.

◗Close the battery compartment door.

Battery Conditions

The battery icon is displayed on the Status Display and, when you press , on the color LCD. Segments disappear as power is used. When only an outline displays, replace the batteries as soon as pos- sible. A ﬂashing icon indicates that the batteries are empty. You can- not use the camera until you replace the batteries.
