The Status Display is the black and white LCD on top of the camera.

It displays information about your camera and the settings you selected with the four buttons that are next to the display.

◗Pictures remaining — Number of pictures that can be taken at the current resolution setting. If there’s a problem, you see:

◗ — Bad card. Replace the memory card.

◗ — No card. Insert a memory card.

◗ — Protected card. Remove the write-protect tab.

◗ — Card full. See Memory Cards on page 9.

◗Resolution setting — See Resolution Button on page 18.
