Performance Verification
The procedures in this section are used to test the switch module’s electrical performance using the specifications in Appendix A of the E1364A User’s Manual as the performance standards. These tests are suitable for incoming inspection, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
Test Fixture A test fixture is required for the following tests. It is recommended that you order an extra terminal module (aka "terminal block") to use as a test fixture, so that you do not have to
Figures 2-1(a) and 2-1(b) show how the test fixture should be wired.
Perform the following steps to wire the test fixture:
–Short all NO (Normally Open) lines together.
–Short all NC (Normally Closed) lines together.
–Short all C (Common) lines together.
