4.1.3Adjust message settings
You can adjust a set of message settings. From Messaging application screen, touch Menu icon 
and touch Settings.
Storage Settings |

• Delete old | Select to delete old messages when the maximum |
messages | number of stored messages is reached. |
•Text message Only 500 text messages can be saved per
limitconversation.
•Multimedia Only 50 multimedia messages be saved per
message limit | conversation. |
Text Message (SMS) Settings
•Delivery reports Select to request a delivery report for each text message you send.
•Manage SIM Touch to manage the messages stored on SIM
messages card.
•Edit quick text Touch to add or edit message templates.
•SMS service Touch to set the SMS service centre number. centre
•Validity period Touch to set how long a message you wish to be stored.
•SMS storage Touch to select phone or SIM card to store
location messages.
Multimedia (MMS) Messages Settings
•Delivery reports Select to request a delivery report for each multimedia message you send.
•Read reports Select to request a report on whether each recipient has read a multimedia message sent by you.
•Send read report Select to request a report on whether the multimedia message is sent out.
•
•Roaming auto- Select to download the full MMS message
retrieve (including message body and attachment)
automatically when roaming. Otherwise, download only the MMS message header to avoid extra charges.
•Creation mode To set the mode of MMS.
• Maximum | Select to edit the message size, but it should not |
message size | be more than 300KB. |
• Priority | Touch to set the priority of MMS. |
