Parameter Description

PVID The VLAN ID assigned to untagged frames received on this port. Use t he

PVID to assign ports to the same untagged VLAN.

Acceptable Frame

Type1

This switch accepts “All” frame types, including VLAN tagged or VLAN

untagged frames. Note that all VLAN untagged frames received on this po rt

are assigned to the PVID for this port.

Ingress Filtering1If set to “True,” incoming frames for VLANs which do not inclu de this port in

their member set will be discarded at the inbound port.

GVRP Status2Enables or disables GVRP for this port. When disabled, any GVRP packets

received on this port will be discarded and no GVRP registrations will be

propagated from other ports.

Note that GVRP must be enabled for the switch before this setting can tak e

effect. (See Switch Configuration Menu / Extended Bridge Configuratio n.)

Registrations2

The total number of failed GVRP registrations, for any reason, on this port.

GVRP Last PDU Origin2The Source MAC Address of the last GVRP message received on this port.

1. This control does not affect VLAN independent BPDU frames, such as GVR P or STP. However, it does

affect VLAN dependent BPDU frames, such as GMRP.

2. GVRP is not available for the current firmware release.
